Daily Bread Food Bank wanted to pressure the government
to increase the Canada Disability Benefit (CDB) for 1.5 million Canadians with disabilities.
To call attention to how little the current CDB was (a max of $200), we tapped into the obsession of internet diet trends on social media, introducing a new diet called the CDB Diet.
It spread like wildfire, waking people up to a reality millions
of Canadians with disabilities have to live with every day.
The best part? It actually resulted in change.
